Awards Not ASBO’s
There is a lot on the news about mobs of yobs terrorising the gentle folk of Britain and not a lot about the decent young people who do good things. We’ve decided this needs to change and that there needs to be a bit of a fuss made about the good stuff instead of the bad. Believe it or not, there are lots of fantastic projects out there that young people are getting on quietly (mostly) with around the county so, as a bit of a trumpet blowing ceremony, Herefordshire Youth Awards supported by Herefordshire Council and PCT are holding a celebration event for the young people of this county. An evening will be held on the 12th July during Shine Week in order to thank these charitable, hard-working youths. HCVYS (Herefordshire Council for Voluntary Youth Service) will also be nominating one individual award and one group award.
