Health & Safety in the Workplace
Health and Safety in the Workplace training - Level 2 Award
The training which is supported by Herefordshire Infrastructure Consortium, will provide an understanding of:
- Introduction to Health and Safety At Work
- Health and Safety Law
- Workplace and Work Equipment
- Risk Assessment
- Manual Handling
- Hazardous Substances
- Ergonomics and Workstation Design
- Working at Heights
- Transport and Vehicles
- Noise and Vibration
The training will use a variety of interactive training exercises such as DVD, card games, word searches. In the final hour of the course there will be an examination consisting of 30 multiple choice questions. Those who correctly answer 20 or more questions will receive a Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health)
