Increasing Resources
We have been able to administer and distribute funding to youth organisations through the youth work matters partnership grants and through Herefordshire Partnerships Single Pot funding.
We have also signposted groups and young people to the Awards for All, Local Network Fund and new Youth Opportunities and Youth Capital Funds, sometimes acting as accountable partners.
Examples of the impact of this increased capacity includes:
- Training grants for volunteers for Guiding and Scouting
- Youth Opportunity, Youth Capital Funding supporting music workshops for work with Traveller young people
- Local Network Funding for training evenings and a residential for young leaders
