Membership
Herefordshire Council for Voluntary Youth Services (HCVYS) members are made up from voluntary organizations throughout the county. Membership is open to independent voluntary youth clubs in the county who work with 11- 25 year olds. Members include both large and small independent youth groups, uniformed groups and church based groups.
Membership benefits
There are lots of benefits to being a member and these include:
• Networking: a chance to meet similar youth organisations
• Newsletter: “Apple Barrel” our regular newsletter is sent out free to all members
• Good practice: access to good practice guidelines and procedures
• Events: invitations to events and members’ meetings
• Training Courses: information on training available with contact details and dates
• Mailing Inserts: availability to have flyers/information included in mail outs with Apple Barrel free of charge
• Annual Report: automatic entitlement to a free copy of the report and the accounts
• AGM: an invitation to attend and exercise your member voting rights
Membership fees
Countywide organisations: £25.00
Independent services and organisations with paid Workers: £20.00
Single village, community projects, parish or estate based clubs: £15.00
